Midfielder Sylvain Legwinski will make his first appearance of pre-season tonight when the Blues take on Chelmsford City at the Chelmsford Sport and Athletics Centre (KO 7.45pm). The Frenchman has been out of action since breaking a metatarsal at Luton in March.

Mathias Doumbe's 78th second red card assisted Town's progress towards a 3-0 victory over Plymouth. After Doumbe's dismissal for a professional foul on Jon Walters, Owen Garvan and Alan Lee put the Blues into a comfortable lead. Late on, Danny Haynes netted a third, Town's 4,000th league goal.

Young striker Jordan Rhodes is included in Town's senior squad for the first time ahead of Saturday's home game with Plymouth Argyle. Boss Jim Magilton has also named central defender Ian Miller in his 19-man squad after recalling the 23-year-old from his loan spell at Darlington.

On-loan Town defender Ian Miller is expected to be OK to play for Boston over the Christmas period despite being on the end of a horror challenge while playing for the Pilgrims at Torquay last Saturday. Miller was stretchered off in the 16th minute after a dreadful tackle from Gulls striker Jordan Robertson.
